Why can’t I access your “09” number from my mobile phone?
Sometime mobile operators bar their customers from phoning “09” numbers to avoid them running up large bills and because of the explicit nature of the call.. You can phone your mobile operator and request this bar to be lifted.
What’s a voice short code?
A short code is a 5 digit number that can only be access from a mobile phone. It’s simpler and easier to remember than a traditional long number and more importantly it avoids any mobile operator surcharge being applied to your bill.
What is the best way to pay for minutes by credit card?
Once your account is set up you can purchase minutes through the website, there is no need to re-input your details. You can also always purchase minutes from within the call! Once you dial the "0800" number advertised you will be prompted within the call whether you wish to purchase extra minutes. Remember, new account members get free minutes on sign up. It’s a great way to top up a your balance once on a call If you want to extend the length of a call.
How do I make repeat payments?
Once you have set up an Adult Phone Chat account either by speaking to our customer care team or by setting up an account on the website, you can simply log in and buy minutes through the website – its quick and simple as we have all your purchase information stored. Why wasn’t my payment authorised?
Generally this is because VISA, our credit card partner does not recognise the card details or there is some data missing. Please check that you have entered all details correctly, especially the long number, expiry date, CSS security number last three digits on the back of the card) and on your contact details that you have put in the correct post code for the address that the card is registered with.
If everything has been entered correctly and we still cannot authorise the transaction, please contact your credit or debit card company direct.
Will you bill me without me agreeing to it?

I don’t have a credit or debit card. Can I still speak to one of your hot girls?

Can I only phone in from a number I’ve set up with you
Yes. For your additional security we chain your account to a telephone number that you specify so that only calls from that number can spend your money! You can change this number – or add up to two more – for your convenience by logging in and looking for the “change telephone” tab within “my account”.
I have credit and debit cards, can I have more than one account registered with Adult Phone Chat?
You are only allowed one account with Adult Phone Chat and you will only be able to register one debit or credit cards at any one time. This is for your own security and protection. You can change this at your convenience at any time by logging in and looking for the “manage credit card” button under “my account”.
Are my details going to be shared with a third party?

How do I change my contact details?

Why do I get cut off while using your services?

How should I prepare for my call?

Why have you barred me from this service?
We only bar customers in extreme circumstances. How long does a refund take to be processed?
You will need to report any reasons why you want a refund in the 24h following your use of the Service (credit card customers only). We will take 48h (working days) to get back to you with a resolution to your complaint. If we decide to give you a refund the following will be processed on the Friday of each week.

From which devices can I access your live video chat service?

The video quality is very poor. Why is this?
The video stream of our webcammers are sent over the internet. The webcammer's internet connection is therefore a determining factor for the quality of the video. The best thing to do in these cases is to report this to the web cammer. He/she can then try to correct the images or he/she will contact us to have a better image for your next private chat.
My webcam isn't working. Why?
Check whether your webcam is working in another application such as Skype or MSN.
Click in the field where your webcam image should be with the right mouse button in the chat application. Choose settings / webcam icon and choose your webcam. Verify that no other program is using your webcam at the same time If the above mentioned steps don't help, it's best to reinstall your webcam's driver software. This can always be found on the website of your webcam's manufacturer.
My browser crashes all the time. What should I do?
Your Adobe Flash player install is probably corrupt. You can solve this by reinstalling it.
You first need to remove the current version from your computer.To uninstall Adobe Flash Player, you need to follow Adobe's instructions. These can be found here. You will need to download some things from the Adobe site. Once the old version has been removed, you can install the new version, by following the instructions on the Adobe site. Once you have downloaded the latest version, close your browser and install the update. You should then be able to see our webcams without any problems.
Loading preferences failed ... Probably firewall issue (port 1935). What do I need to do?
The live webcam chat platform uses various 'ports' of your internet connection.When these ports are blocked, you will not be able to make a connection with the web cammer. You can try to switch off your personal firewall (often a part of your anti-virus program). If you can then make a connection with our platform, then try to switch the firewall on again and explictly enable port 1935 and port 80 only. Also check whether port 2037 and 1935 aren't blocked by your operating system:

When you have switched off your firewall and it still doesn't work, you can check whether you are using a 'router' on your network. Firewalls could be configured on some routers that can block ports 1935 and 80. Check whether this is the case.
The web cammer can't hear me. What can I do?
You can only talk with a web cammer while you are in one2one mode and your webcam has been switched on. Your microphone is normally activated automatically. If you have connected several microphones (for example one in-built in the PC and one built into the webcam), you have to first determine (only once) within the application which microphone you want to use. Right click in the chat window.You then get a menu, where you click on the option "Settings..."Your main screen becomes grey; you get the "Macromedia Flash Player Settings" menu. Click below on the tab with the microphone, choose the microphone you want to activate in the drop-down list. Set the volume and check if "Reduce echo" is on.Click "close" to store and save your settings.
